Zach Koch: I am writing this because I genuinely believe the best way forward for Arizona is to elect Rodney Glassman for Attorney General of Arizona.
My parents moved to Arizona in 2007, and I was born there in 2009. And I am 16 years old. I met Rodney through a mutual hockey friend. I am a hockey player, and he has graciously allowed me to learn from him in his day-to-day life. I love Arizona, and I care about its future. I have a twin brother who also plays hockey in Boston, as well as a sister who danced with Rodney’s daughter in the past. I know Rodney is the right way forward for our state! Rodney Glassman is NOT a career politician, and Arizona’s future needs him. I am writing this to tell you why.
The Republican Primary is a two-horse race between a career politician and an Air Force JAG Officer. Rodney holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and has fed his family for almost two decades of experience working in the private sector as a litigation attorney. Rodney is running for AG, which is Arizona’s largest law firm, with over 400 attorneys and 1,000 support staff. He’s an Air Force prosecutor and a practicing attorney for more than 17 years.
Before studying law, Rodney earned his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics. Rodney met his wife, Sasha Glassman, at the University of Arizona in 2007, where they both were studying law. They were married in 2009 and have two daughters, Ruth and Rose. They are extremely active, competing in swim meets and dance competitions, which is where you will find Rodney on most weekends, cheering them on. Rodney is a family man first and foremost, as he believes family is more important than anything else.
Long before he started a family with Sasha, Rodney moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 1997 to help manage his family’s struggling ice hockey rink. He played hockey as a kid, in college, and he continues to play in Phoenix to this day. Rodney has always loved Arizona, but more importantly, he has always loved his country. That is why he decided to join the Air Force in 2009 after graduating from law school and has since worked his way up the ranks. Rodney is now assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, and is now a Judge Advocate General, providing legal advice and services to the most extensive fighter base in the world.
As a private sector attorney, Rodney has an extensive history of representing high-profile clients in high-stakes litigation, such as U-Haul, Mobile Mini, Phoenix International Raceway (NASCAR), Arizona’s largest new construction plumbing company, Brewer Companies, and former PetSmart CEO Phil Francis.
Rodney, like President Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan, RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and many others, was once a Democrat. That’s part of what makes the Republican coalition unique; it brings together people from diverse political backgrounds. Rodney didn’t leave the Democratic Party; the Party left him when it shifted sharply to the left, increasingly catering to progressives such as Bernie Sanders and AOC. At the same time, under Biden, criticism of the COVID-19 vaccine was restricted, and there was a growing push to normalize DEI initiatives and promote ‘woke’ ideology as the cultural standard.
Glassman has previously run for smaller offices as a Republican three times. In fact, in 2020, his current 2026 Republican opponent for Attorney General, Realtor Warren Petersen endorsed him for Maricopa County Assessor. Glassman is a true MAGA Republican—he officially switched parties on June 16, 2015, the very day Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign.

All Warren Petersen’s campaign can do is say negative things about Rodney and how he was a Democrat and ran for office before. Why? Because he can’t stand on his credentials as an attorney, he doesn’t have any.
As stated above, he has 17+ years of prosecution experience and 20+ years of experience as a licensed attorney. His opponent, Realtor Warren Petersen, is running with NO prosecution experience and has only had his law license for under two years. You read that correctly, NO prosecution experience ever. And has NEVER represented anyone in court.
Remember, he is running to serve as Arizona’s Chief Law Enforcement Officer and to lead the state law office. That’s like if someone who has never cut a person’s hair becomes your barber, how would you feel? I don’t know about you, but I would rather have a barber who has been cutting hair for 20+ years. Petersen is a politician with endless promises and zero kept. Every time the people of Arizona need him the most, he does nothing. He knows how to play the game, that’s it.
In times of such importance, we need an Attorney General who knows the law, protects the law, and delivers for the people in Arizona when needed. Enough of radical Kris Mayes. It is time to elect someone with a backbone. Rodney will protect our children from woke ideology in schools, prosecute criminals to the fullest extent of the law, back law enforcement, and make sure all Arizonans prosper. He will help implement the MAGA agenda, secure our elections for the future, and create a safer place for people to start families and grow businesses.
This is why I would vote for Rodney Glassman, and why I think you should too!
