HEBER, Ariz.— A federal judge has temporarily blocked the U.S. Forest Service from capturing or removing unclaimed and unbranded horses from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests after concluding that the plaintiffs met the legal standard for a preliminary injunction while their lawsuit challenging the agency's actions proceeds.

Attorney General Breaks Silence | Navajo County Recorder Case

NAVAJO COUNTY — The Arizona Attorney General's Office told Mountain Daily Star exclusively that it plans to appeal Maricopa County Superior Court Judge David McDowell's ruling allowing Navajo County Recorder David Marshall to remain in office. The Attorney General's Office said it believes the Court reached the wrong decision and plans to seek an appeal.
