Apache County Attorney’s Office served search warrant

APACHE COUNTY-The Apache County Attorney’s Office was raided by several agencies in task force style on June 4. The warrant came from the Arizona Attorney General Office and Apache County Attorney Michael Whiting is presently at large.

On June 4 the Apache County Attorney’s Office was served a search warrant with an undercover task force that included several agencies. The search warrant included the Apache County Attorney’s Office and Apache County Attorney Michael Whiting’s residence.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the agencies are the Department of Public Safety, Phoenix Police, Glendale Police and others. Sources called the task force the ACTIC task force. Known as the The Arizona Fusion Center, also known as the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center.

The Attorney General’s Office confirmed to Mountain Daily Star, “Their office served the search warrant.”

The Apache County Sheriff’s Office said, ” We had no knowledge of the warrant and were not involved with the search warrant.”

The Apache County Attorneys Office said, “We can not comment at this time.”

Sources said that the Apache County Attorney Michael Whiting is presently at large.
