Altercation under investigation leaves one person dead

Show Low- Brady Ieler was charged with 2nd-degree murder and other charges after two people were left injured and one person died at the scene. The case remains under investigation.

On July 17, 2024, at approximately 9:23 p.m., the Show Low Police Department received a call about an altercation near the intersection of Central Ave. and the Deuce of Clubs, in Show Low, Arizona.

Upon arrival, officers found two adult victims lying on the ground with serious injuries.  Both subjects were immediately transported to the hospital. One subject was pronounced deceased, and the other was later transported to the Phoenix area for medical care.

The investigation revealed two adult suspects had been involved in the altercation. One of these suspects struck the victims with a vehicle and fled the scene. These suspects have been identified and the driver, Brady Ieler, 27 years old of Show Low, AZ, has been arrested and booked on charges related to the incident.

Navajo County booking details

According to the AZ Secretary of State, Ieler is the Statutory Agent for a local business, White Mountain Movers LLC.

Ieler has several prior offences ranging from domestic violence, speeding, and disorderly conduct.

“We thank our dispatchers, officers, and detectives for their prompt response to this incident and for their relentless pursuit of justice for the victims. We also thank Timber Mesa Fire and Summit Healthcare for their assistance during this incident, “said Show Low Police Department.

This case remains under investigation.
