Spring Concerto Concert | White Mountain Symphony Orchestra

COMMUNITY-Join the community orchestra for the spring concerto concert on April 6, at 3 p.m. at the Show Low Auditorium.

Once a year high school and college musicians compete for the spotlight in the spring concert. This year, WMSO chose a high school student and a college student for the performance.

Concerto Competition Winners: Noah Edwards, 14, a freshman from Joseph City High School. Edwards will be playing the bass in the high school division, and Katie Ikesaki, from the University of Arizona will be playing the flute.

Edwards will be performing the Vanhal Bass Concerto in C Major by Johann Baptist Vanhal, and Ikesaki will be performing the Khachaturian Flute Concerto by Aram Khachaturian.

SHOW LOW-According to the Show Low Police Department, a 76-year-old Eagar woman accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake, colliding with a U.S. Postal vehicle on the Deuce of Clubs. She was cited for failing to stop at a red light.
