St. Johns Collision Leaves One Dead.

On September 4, 2023, the St. Johns Police Department investigated a two-vehicle fatal traffic collision at the intersection of 27th Place South and Highway 180/191. The crash resulted in one death, 70 year old Patrick John Knapp, and another victim was transported by ambulance for treatment.

According to SJPD, Impairment does not appear to be a factor at the time. SJPD is still conducting the investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
