Train derailment in Apache County | Under Investigation

APACHE COUNTY- Apache County Road 7156 near Adamana Road has been closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a train derailment.

No injuries have been reported. Crews are working to get the road opened as soon as possible.

Update 10:06 am road has been cleared for traffic. The investigation continues.

The accident is being investigated by the railroad and NTSB. Puerco Valley Fire Department and the Apache county Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
