WEATHER-According to the National Weather Service, cold temps and some mixed precipitation is expected to enter our area Friday and Saturday.

A strong cold front is expected to bring much colder temperatures and chances for rain and high-elevation snow on Friday and Saturday.

The National Weather Service wrote on Facebook, “The  first Winter-like storm is on the way late this week. We’ll see a strong cold front sweep across the area late Thursday night into Friday, which will bring much colder temperatures and widespread rain and high-elevation snow. How much snow you ask? Great question! Right now doesn’t look like too much for most of us, but the mountaintops should be white after this one. Stay tuned – we’ll have more details tomorrow as our forecast continues to evolve.”
