Man falls to his death driving ATV into a sinkhole | Concho

Greer Fire District wrote on their Facebook Page-“Last night Greer Fire was paged to provide man power to St. John’s Fire/EMS and Concho Fire in hoisting a victim and ATV out of an approximate 10 foot hole just North of Concho AZ. Sadly the victim succumbed to his injuries. Other agencies involved being, Round Valley Fire Medical, Salt River Project technical rescue crews, and crews from Apache County incident management team. The crazy part of this call is there was sink holes and tunnels all around that were not visible very well, causing very unstable ground, some holes being approximately 40 feet deep. Crews worked in a very safe and conscious manner. No injuries reported.”
