The 92nd Navajo County Fair and Rodeo.

The Navajo County Rodeo is a part of the culture that drives our community. It takes a year to prepare for the fair; the board members and many participants are volunteers.

Jason Whiting, Navajo County Supervisor, said,” Please relay to all the volunteers how much we appreciate them taking their time volunteering to be a part of this.”

The inaugural Navajo County Fair took place in Taylor in 1926. However, in 1931, the County Supervisors relocated the fair to Holbrook. This move was prompted by Holbrook’s status as the County Seat and its central position in order to accommodate the fair and other events. Permanent fairgrounds and additional facilities were constructed in Holbrook.

Today, the Navajo County Fair committee is dedicated to providing a top-notch experience for athletes and attendees looking to experience the Navajo County Fair and Rodeo. https://navajocountyfair.net/

The Navajo County Event Director, Michelle Stock, said, ” I like seeing the joy on everyone that walks through the fair.”

Saturday Night Rodeo:

The Broncs and Bulls were bucking and gave the Cowboys a run for their money with a dynamic roughstock that didn’t hold back. The barrel racing event was just as exciting. The cowgirls turned and burned around the arena, putting on a spectacular show. The steer wrestling and breakaway events were on full display. There’s nothing like some bulldogging to rope in the rodeo events.
