iPhone Crash Alert Leads Deputies to Fatal Rollover in Snowflake

SNOWFLAKE, Ariz. — An iPhone crash alert helped deputies locate a fatal single-vehicle rollover that claimed two lives late Sunday night near Snowflake.

According to a media release from the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 9:13 p.m. on November 30 after receiving an iPhone crash alert indicating a possible collision in the area of Charolais Trail and Garibaldi Road.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a vehicle that had rolled over. Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified the victims as a 30-year-old woman from Snowflake and a 29-year-old man from Taylor.

Next of kin notifications are still pending, and officials have not released the victims’ names.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
