‘Altercation’ between inmates breaks out at Winslow prison complex

BREAKING- An ‘altercation’ between inmates occurred at the ASPC-Winslow today, according to ADCRR Media Relations.

Shortly after 6pm an ‘altercation’ broke out at the ASPC-Winslow prison. The situation was isolated within the prison according to several sources.

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) said, “There was an altercation between inmates this afternoon at ASPC-Winslow.” 

The ASCRR spokesperson confirmed to Mountain Daily Star, “The situation is under control and is being investigated further and at no point was the public at risk as no inmate attempted any sort of escape.” 

Several Facebook posts stated that there was a prison break and ADCRR denied the claims. 

Mountain Daily Star is waiting for ADCRR to confirm any injuries.
