Crash on I-40 near Winslow | Three people killed

BREAKING- DPS confirmed, 3 people dead including a 4 month old baby, a teen boy and a man, 5 are hospitalized.

The highway was closed about an hour ago and reopened at 8:41 am.

Update:

At 7:34 am, there was a one-vehicle three-time fatal collision involving a pickup truck that was eastbound on Interstate 40 at milepost 257 near Winslow.

The vehicle carried eight people including the driver. For an unknown reason, the vehicle ran off the road into the median. The driver overcorrected and swerved into the #1 lane but may have oversteered left causing the vehicle to roll multiple times ejecting three passengers.
The deceased includes a four-month-old infant, a teenage male and an adult male.
The remaining five people in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital.
Impairment has not been ruled out as a factor on the part of the adult female driver who was injured.
