PINETOP, Ariz. — The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) is investigating a homicide in Pinetop after deputies discovered the body of a 59-year-old woman late Thursday evening.
According to a media release issued Friday, November 21, by Navajo County, deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. on November 20, 2025, in the area of Bruin Way and Branding Iron Loop in Pinetop. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed the death was a homicide involving a 59-year-old female victim. Her identity has not been released.
Investigators say there is a significant law enforcement presence in the neighborhood as detectives canvass the area and interview neighbors. The Sheriff’s Office is urging residents to avoid the area while the investigation remains active.
“At this time, no suspect information is available. This remains an active and ongoing investigation,” the statement read.
