APACHE COUNTY-Moonshot’s 5th Annual Rural Arizona Pitch Competition for entrepreneurs and business owners (aka, a showcase like you see on ABC’s Shark Tank) is coming to St. Johns.

Do you have a “moonshot” idea or an existing business you’d like to expand? Or maybe you have a product or business idea scribbled down on a napkin  or notebook?

Participation is FREE OF CHARGE, thanks to title sponsors Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Arizona Commerce Authority, and APS.

St. Johns Pitch Competition: Thursday, June 20, 2024: Location: Apache County Library 30 S 2nd W, Saint Johns, AZ 85936

“We’re thrilled to have the competition tour stop in Apache County as it gives young entrepreneurs great exposure, insights and resources they can put towards their budding businesses and ideas,” said Nelson Davis, Apache County Supervisor for District III.

Prizes at the St. Johns competition are sponsored by Salt River Project (SRP) and Northeast Arizona Economic Development Engine, RealAZ. The first-place winner will receive $1,000, second place will receive $750, and third place will receive $500 toward their startup business.

The Apache County winning participant will also have the chance to compete for this year’s state title and $10,000, or $5,000 for the crowd favorite pitch.
