Cody Layne Cox | Arrested

APACHE COUNTY- Man arrested in St. Johns on charges against a child.

On January 18, St. Johns Police Department arrested Cody Layne Cox on two felony counts and two misdemeanors. Charges include harassment, indecent exposure, lure a minor for sex , indecent exposure, and interfering with a judicial proceeding. Cox is currently being held in the Apache County Jail on $100,000 bail.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Former Show Low Police Officer Sentenced

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Samuel Joseph Weimer, 46, of Show Low, Arizona, was sentenced on June 24, 2025, by United States District Judge Diane J. Humetewa to 42 months in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release for possession of obscene material related to a child.
