Search warrant in Lakeside resulted in the arrest of three people

LAKESIDE, AZ-Three people were arrested for selling drugs from a home in Lakeside.

On March 18, the Navajo County Major Crimes Apprehension Team (MCAT) executed a search warrant at a residence on the 900 block of West Zuni Lane in Lakeside. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of three individuals in connection to a drug sales operation, and the seizure of illegal drugs.

MCAT Detectives with the assistance of the Navajo County Criminal Investigations Unit, Arizona Department of Public Safety Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GIITEM), the Arizona Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations, and White Mountain Regional Special Response Team served a search warrant in Lakeside as a result of a lengthy investigation of drug sales from the residence.

During the search warrant Dustin Evans (33) of El Mirage, Velinda Barrington (66), and Clayton Goff (30) both of Pinetop, were arrested after 5 grams of Fentanyl powder, 450 Fentanyl pills, 7.5 grams of Methamphetamine, and 15 grams of Mushrooms were located at the residence. All three individuals were booked into the Navajo County Annex for drug related charges.
