Holbrook, AZ: On August 10, 2023, multiple agencies from Navajo County and Apache County spent numerous days conducting a manhunt for Chad Alvin Columbia (40) of Show Low. Chad was ultimately arrested and booked into Apache County Jail for numerous felony warrants.

Columbia had numerous outstanding felony arrest warrants out of Navajo and Apache County and was believed to be in the White Mountain Region. Deputies from the US Marshal Services, Deputies from Apache County and Navajo County, Officers from Show Low Police Department, and St. Johns Police Department, which included the White Mountain Special Response Team (SRT), conducted a cooperative effort over multiple days to locate Chad. Law enforcement successfully apprehended Chad at a residence in Concho Valley.

Once again, this is a prime example of the great partnerships law enforcement around our region has. We are grateful to all participating agencies who worked together to get another dangerous felon off the street.
