Horne Auto Center To Hold Prices Amid Global Tariff Changes

SHOW LOW – Horne Auto Center is supporting General Motors’ recent announcement that it will not raise vehicle prices in response to new tariffs on imported vehicle parts. Despite facing an estimated $1.1 billion in added costs during Q2 of 2025. GM has confirmed it will absorb the impact rather than pass it along to consumers.

Horne Auto is towing the line on GM’s position. “At Horne Auto Center, we are committed to providing our customers with the very best price available on our full line of GM vehicles. Our customers deserve that when they shop with us, no matter the global economic shifts,” said Brian Willis, Horne Auto Center’s General Manager. “This decision reinforces that commitment to the local community.”

Here’s what this means for car buyers in Arizona:
● No unexpected markups on Chevrolet, Buick, or GMC models
● Stable pricing on both 2025 inventory and early 2026 arrivals
● Continued access to GM’s gas-powered and electric vehicles
● No changes to pricing despite industrywide tariff pressures

GM is also making strategic moves to offset long-term costs associated with importing parts, which include a $4 billion investment in U.S. manufacturing that will bring more parts production stateside by 2027. This investment aligns with the stated goals of the Trump Administration’s tariff policy.

Horne Auto Center was founded in Show Low in 1991 when Robert C. Horne purchased a Chevrolet dealership. The dealership is currently run by his son, Aaron Horne. The Horne family is recognized for its strong business ethic, dedication to hard work, and community involvement.

“At Horne Auto Center, we sell an iconic American automotive brand. It’s time to step up, and we’re glad to be a part of it,” said Willis.
